This is what the slopes above the Taos Ski Valley looked like a couple of days ago. Fall is here!

Hi, John,
I’m in hospital here in Taunton, England, going through stem cell transplant and when I’m put in the isolation room for a couple weeks (immune system down until the stem cells rebuild it, 2 weeks) your photos will be on my screensaver to remind me of the wilderness there. In 2010 I had my ticket all ready for another visit and thenhe diagnosis of bone marrow cancer. which put the stoppers on the trip. Well this is why I’m doing this trip, a big trip, of making sure I can go into remissi0n for several years and in 2013 I’m getting on that jetplane and heading out to New Mexico again. I think I’ll give your election year a miss, though:>))

Thanks for the energy and the wilderness, John. This is a good wild, time, the actions going on In New York Wall street and spreading(even to ABQ!!!). A good time to be alive, strength to us all.

Thank you for sharing all that, Gillian. Sounds like a plan, and God bless. My prayers are with you, get well soon!

I agree about it being a GOOD wild time. I absolutely do. A lot of things are changing right before our eyes. Similar energy to the ’60s—related, too—but bigger. Broader. Different. I’m all for it.
