I shot this right outside my front door tonight. Here’s wishing everyone a happy new year, which starts today, of course!

Blessings to you and to your beloved on this solstice, John. Such a moon. That’s a fine camera that delivery van brought down the drive. Great little video!
Yes, about whether to cut one’s hair or not – thing is, , it grows again if you don’t like it to but for a while, you will feel much lighter and, dare I say, liberated in a strange sort of way.
The thing about feeling betrayed by Obama is that it brings forth the best in you. Keep on rantin’ – because life is about more than pretty pictures and bluebirds..and it’s better out than in. And besides, I need to know what good Americans are feeling.

Thank you!

Yes, I agree about the hair, actually. 🙂 One thing I’ve thought of is to shave my head and let it grow for ANOTHER ten years. And I very much appreciate the rest of what you say here.

GREAT Photo of the Lunar Eclipse John…..My wife and I stayed up to view the total eclipse…and it was Gorgeous here in Oklahoma….even an orangy-redish hue around the edges….with thin wispy clouds swirling around it….POWERFUL, and a once in a lifetime event…..(occuring on the Winter Solstice) and I noticed my cats were TOTALLY nuts last night…..so I take it as an omen of SOMETHING…Good or whatever is yet to be determined….but to us…it was Magical….and a Postive…..And you seem to have captured a portion of that magic with your photo……Thanks John!
