Just south of Taos, early afternoon: breezy, otherwise quiet, no traffic or people noises, 70° F, humidity 19%.

I want to be sitting out there, with that view, in that chair. I won’t be able to make it out to New Mexico this September after all due to illness, so keep those pictures coming, they bring it closer to my heart. Thanks, my friend.

Sorry to hear that, Gillian, and get well soon! In the meantime, I’ll keep ’em coming, all right.

Funny how each one of us can make a difference in the lives of people we never met. Your book and photos sure sweeten mine. I’ll be out there again one day, it’s the desert in my dreams, the space, the wild.
In the meantime, the Glastonbury Festival kicks off, June 23-27. Bono was going to headline but he hurt his back and instead we have Gorillaz. That’s the trouble with old crocks; they wear out. But you seem to be goin’ strong there, in the high good air, keep on truckin’!
And thanks.
