• FotoFeed features almost 3,000 images, and you can view almost ALL of them sequentially, backwards or forwards . The current WordPress site goes back to June 14, 2009. On that page is a link to the last page of the preceding site, which goes all the way back to December 15, 2001.
• To see all photos starting from the present, just hit the "Previous Entries" or "Previous Post" links and work your way back.
• Unfortunately, you can't go forward from the oldest page (12-1-2001). But you can go from forward starting from January 5, 2006. From the preceding page, however, you can only go backwards to the beginning. Confusing, I know.
• The Photos by Category, Archives, and Search FotoFeed menus [right] only apply to the current site, going back to June 14, 2009, but you can find all kinds of interesting things.
• You can also use the Sitemap pages to search for photos at the current site by category and titles in a list format. Try it!

I am interested in any and all old photos of the hospital/convent that might exist. I love old history and tis is an excellent example of the metamorphis of a building. Once owned by Mable Luhan Dodge, then turned into the first Holy Cross Hosiptal in 1939.
Jim,
As a temporary employee of the hospital, I lived in the hospital/convent in 1972 (in the former Mother Superior’s room) and remember it fondly.
I do not know if I have any old photos of the building in storage but I found a really old picture of the place here:

There’s even an interior shot in the long narrow kitchen I remember so well.
regards, Mark
Hi guys! This is for both of you. First, a big thanks to Mark for that link. What a great shot of the old place in all its glory. And about that fire: it turns out a man was brutally knifed and murdered there that night, and the fire was a pathetic attempt to destroy the evidence. The suspects haven’t come to trial yet, but you could search the Taos News website and maybe get the details if you’re interested.
Very “Taos,” though, the whole story.
