“I got my eye on you, bub. Better not be here when I get back!”

Howdy John,…..Steve from Oklahoma here….Long time and no post etc….but still follow you often. Great photo of the coyote…..and – my wife and I noticed THREE of them the other day in mid-afternoon….in a pasture quite near a busy street on the edge of town…..and they kept circling a small shetland pony someone had left in the pasture…..We pulled in to notify the owner….who then released his 3 other LARGE horses…..and amazingly…..the coyotes headed back towards the woods?!? They too were quite healthy in appearance…..but was a bit confused why they would be out in broad daylight…..so close to town….unless they were starved or ill……but still amazing to see……and – as you – always wonder WHAT their message is…???
Adios for now….be Well and Warm….and enjoy exploring your new Trail…and as always….Keep those photos coming for all of us living vicariously through your posts and photos!!!
Thanks – Steve in Stillwater

Hi Steve!

Sorry I was so long in replying. I’ll keep ’em coming, you may be sure. As for coyotes, the message usually is, “Hahaha, look out!” at least in my experience.
